Literature Notes (also known as Reference Notes) are a type of annotation that consists of recording the page and a brief excerpt of what has been read, something that has caught our attention and that we want to keep in our archive for reference.
Not everything we capture is worth turning into a Permanent Note. Reference notes themselves are permanent, according to Sรถnke Ahrens, meaning that they will remain in our archive permanently; we wonโt get rid of them.
